Team – Happy Saturday! I use to only blog about the “highlights” of my life, so if you read my posts you probably think I watch every move I make and every bite in my mouth. Well, that was my first year of blogging. Now I blog about ALL OF MY LIFE and here goes some real life struggles!

Portion Control – Unless you open something else, you do not overeat. Only 380 calories. Could’ve been way worse! One slice of cheese pizza from Pizza Hut is 240 calories.* I would’ve had more than one piece…
Easy – I paid a few dollars for this and slipped it in the microwave
Fulfilled My Craving – I wanted pizza and I ate pizza
What to watch out for while eating microwavable food?
Sodium - If it comes in a box, it’s packed with sodium. Too much sodium increases the risk of heart problems (i.e. stroke, kidney disease, heart failure, osteoporosis, etc)
Easy, but hard – I mentioned easy above, but it makes it hard for you to TRULY understand portion control if it’s not in a pretty package. Imagine ordering a pizza with friends, how would you know when to stop? The box trains you to stop eating when the meal is gone, not to stop eating when you SHOULD be done. Think about portion control, instead of eating to completion.
I had some broccoli with my pizza and I watched some TV. Overall, I ate pizza tonight and did not feel too guilty. Success!
