Team – My mind races 24/7. It’s always in a thousand places. All I think about at work is “what’s next on the list” and in the gym I’m constantly challenging myself to “change it up from last time.” This keeps my mind in a constant state of change. I like change and change is good!
These have changed from last week but right now, here are some of my favorite things.
My favorite exercise: Kettlebell Suitcase Squat. Feet shoulder width apart, squat down with all your weight on your heels, stick the butt back and bend at the knees. Look forward and keep a natural breath. Stand up by pressing through your heels and squeeze your butt to the starting position.
My favorite song: Dance Again by Jennifer Lopez. I don’t care if all of her music sounds the same! If they all sound good, let them sound alike. Press play and enjoy!
My Favorite Snack: Broccoli and Salsa. Here is a simple recipe for your lunch. I pour salsa over several broccoli florets in a microwavable container. When lunch rolls around, I just pop them in the microwave for 40 seconds to steam the broccoli and devour it.
Hopefully my favorite things will keep you strong, moving and healthy. Keep in mind, these will change next week. ha!
